Foulger-Pratt Contracting is pleased to announce it has been selected by JBG Rosenfeld as the General Contractor for the Downtown Crown retail project. The $18 million award includes construction of the Phase I retail and parking portion of the Downtown Crown mixed-use development designed by Brown Craig Turner Architects. The scope of work entails construction of four retail shell buildings totaling 101,500 square feet – including a new LA Fitness Gym – plus 20 acres of sitework, utilities, paving, hardscapes and landscaping. Additionally, Foulger-Pratt Contracting will construct a 154,000 gross square foot, 5-story (6 parking level) precast parking garage to accommodate 456 cars. Construction begins August 2012 and is scheduled for completion in late 2013.
