It is with great pleasure that we announce the addition of Stephen Merbaum to the professional staff of Specialized Engineering’s Business Development Team at our Baltimore area branch located in Hanover, MD. As an active participant at community and industry, Steve is responsible for supporting the company’s growing needs in marketing, sales, and proposal development for public and private industry.
In joining our firm, Steve brings with him nearly ten years of experience serving the Construction Industry. A graduate of Towson State University with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in Business and Economics, Steve began his professional Sales and Marketing career in 1997 for a small local firm. He then moved on to the role of GSA Business and Development Account Manager for a leading national Modular Building provider in 2003. In this position he developed, managed and maintained government accounts, supported sales efforts and created a successful marketing strategy which exceeded his firm’s Federal/ GSA objectives in the Mid-Atlantic region. Steve’s dedicated efforts substantially increased the sales and marketing productivity for his firm in the greater Baltimore and Metro Washington DC areas.
