Reston, VA — As Lend Lease celebrates its 14th consecutive year as the #1 Multi-Unit Residential Contractor (2013 Engineering News Record), the Washington DC office is nearing completion of The Avant at Reston Town Center. The Avant is Lend Lease’s sixth project in the Town Center and 21st project completed with Boston Properties. With the completion of The Avant, Lend Lease will have managed over $256 million worth of construction in two blocks at Reston Town Center.
The Avant at Reston Town Center consists of a 15-story, 359-unit rental apartment building and a multi-level, 758-space parking garage. In addition to the rental units, the project includes approximately 27,000 sf of ground-level shell retail space. A variety of apartments are available ranging from 574 sf studios to 1,551 sf 3-bedroom/2-bath units. Rental apartment finishes include stained cabinets, granite countertops, GE appliances, and wood/carpet/ceramic flooring. The project is on track to receive LEED-NC Silver Certification.
