Washington, DC – Donohoe Construction Company has broken ground at 465 New York Avenue NW for the construction of a new Homewood Suites. This 95,303 square-foot hotel, designed by BBG-BBGM, will include 160 guestrooms in a thirteen-story structure atop three levels of underground parking. The hotel will feature in-room high speed internet access, a business center and fitness facilities. Units will range from efficiencies to two bedroom suites with kitchenettes. Also included in the project is the relocation of a 112-year-old historic building.
