Linthicum, MD – The Rommel Companies (which includes Rommel Engineering and Construction, Rommel Cranston Construction, and Rommel Cranston Service) hosted the 16th Annual Golf Fore Kids on August 15, 2014. The Golf Fore Kids Committee proudly announces that the event raised $38,000 to support Maryland Organizations that support and enrich the wellbeing of children.
Now in its sixteenth year, the tournament attracted 140 players. To date Golf Fore Kids has raised more than $410,000 to benefit our local charities and non-profit organizations. This year donations are being made to: Maryland School for the Blind, University of Maryland Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center, House of Ruth, ACE Mentoring Program and Ruth’s Harvest.
The event included a full day of golf, lunch and a silent-auction in the afternoon. Capital Tristate was the event’s Platinum Sponsor. Silver Sponsors included Ward Boland Associates and Apple Ford. Buffet sponsors were Willis, Havetch and Monumental Supply. Rommel ACE, Rommel Harley-Davidson and The Farfield Company also contributed to the event.
