Arlington, VA – GHT Limited (GHT), a leading DC metro area mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering consulting firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeffrey Salay, PE, CEM, LEED AP to Senior Principal.
Since joining the firm sixteen years ago, Jeffrey has provided valuable leadership to expand GHT’s Building Operations Consulting and launch our Operations and Energy Services (OES) studio. He partners with building owners and operators to develop solutions which optimize energy efficiency. “During his tenure with GHT, Jeffrey has served a pivotal role in the development of our MEP and energy efficiency consulting services for buildings post-occupancy,” said President Paul O’Brien. “His vision in growing and formally uniting our operations and energy services into a dedicated studio continues to set GHT apart, ensuring that the firm delivers creative, high quality engineering solutions for the built environment.”
A mechanical engineer with 22 years of experience, Jeffrey leads the firm’s efforts to provide ENERGY STAR® benchmarking services, ASHRAE energy audits and energy efficiency design upgrades for commercial, government, residential, educational and senior care facilities. A professional engineer licensed in Maryland, as well as a Certified Energy Manager and LEED AP, Jeffrey earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Maryland.
