Westminster, MD – The Daily Record has announced the honorees of its 2018 Maryland's Top 100 Women awards. Fourteen women were inducted into the Circle of Excellence. Karen Barbour, President of The Barbour Group is a 2018 Circle of Excellence 
honoree.
Induction into the Circle of Excellence requires that the honoree win the Top 100 Women award three times. This high honor is given to recognize sustained achievement professionally, in the community and through mentoring. In 2018, Karen Barbour celebrates 33 years of service to the construction industry in her role as a surety professional and an industry advocate.
