Erie, PA – Architectural products manufacturer, Kane Innovations, Inc., recently joined the Washington Building Congress (WBC) as a company member.

Kane Innovations, headquartered in Erie, Pennsylvania, has been an industry leader in metal building products since 1890. Their product offering consists of aluminum, glass and stainless steel handrail and guardrail, along with security products and ornamental metalworks. The company employs over 125 professionals.

Mac Hines, Kane Innovations’ Vice President of Sales, said that the decision to join the WBC was reached without much deliberation, thanks to a stellar first impression in 2018.

“We were introduced to the Washington Building Congress last September and were immediately struck by the high quality membership and dedication to the Washington D.C. metro in general,” said Hines.

Hines said that Kane’s longevity as a corporation, coupled with their active, 20-year history in the D.C. construction market, made the choice clear.

“Currently, we have 17 ongoing railing projects in the Washington, D.C. metro, which is not atypical for Kane. Among these projects are very high-profile installations such as the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Expansion, the Potomac Yard Development and the Wharf Neighborhood.”

With their Washington Building Congress membership, Kane Innovations hopes to foster current relationships and build new connections by networking at various WBC-sponsored, member-exclusive events.

“Kane Innovations and our local independent sales representatives are thrilled to already be a part of the building community in Washington, D.C. and surrounding areas. Now, we’re taking an exciting new step in improving our regional visibility with the support of the Washington Building Congress,” said Hines.

“We’re looking forward to meeting the members, learning more about projects and how we can help.”
