The Washington Building Congress as part of the Network of Support Partners for the Academy of Engineering at Phelps ACE High School, knows how vital hands-on learning is for the students in the Academy. We would like to offer Phelps students an enriching experience to find out what engineering and other fields are all about from professionals working in that field.
With this in mind, Thursday, March 12, will be the fifth annual Phelps ACE High School Engineering Shadow Day. We are seeking volunteers to mentor a Phelp’s student for the day. Volunteers do not need to be engineers! Volunteers from various fields are needed including engineering, architecture, construction, science, business, IT, etc.
