Chuck Claar, with R.W. Murray Co., will be serving as Chairman of the Board this year. The FY’22 board term runs October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022.

The WBC Nominating Committee has met and the slate of candidates listed below has been recommended for a vote of the membership at the annual business meeting on September 28, 2021.  The meeting and election will be held during the Fall Kickoff.

WBC is providing 10 volunteers on September 18 and October 16, to sort and pack food at the Capital Area Food Bank’s DC distribution center. The volunteer community is one of the charitable organization’s most important resources. Each year, volunteers save the food bank millions of dollars while helping to feed the DMV community. The WBC Community Services Committee is coordinating this outstanding monthly volunteer opportunity.

About Capital Area Food Bank
The Capital Area Food Bank leads our region’s efforts to provide good, healthy food to people struggling with hunger and food insecurity. Each year, we source and distribute the food for over 45 million meals.
