Christine Heffernan

Founder of Novel Communications, Christine Heffernan joined WBC in 2012 to join other like-minded people looking to grow the A/E/C industry. Specializing in marketing and communications, she was able to leverage her skills and assist the board with the 2020 Craftsmanship awards.

The popular in-person event, which recognizes the performances of skilled craft professionals, had to move forward in a virtual setting due to the pandemic. The board had to revise the script, and work with a videographer to prerecord the program. Figuring out a solution so that the award ceremony could continue has been one of Christine’s biggest accomplishments since serving on the board.

While her golf skills may be non-existent, you can ask this foodie for dining recommendations. Her go-to restaurant is Le Diplomate in NW Washington, DC.
