Washington, DC – WBC members and friends were treated to a first-class Holiday Party evening at picturesque Congressional Country Club on Tuesday December 8.   With a beautiful dusting of snow on the fairways, combined with unusually favorable driving conditions, the near capacity crowd surrounded themselves with great industry friends and colleagues.

What a fantastic turnout this year – we collected 1,319 books for Turning the Page.   Congratulations on beating last year’s record by a whopping 570 books!

Turning the Page are so appreciative of these donations. Many will go to families who attend Turning the Page programs in Ward 8 public school communities, in order to build up home libraries and contribute to positive at-home reading practices.
