Washington, DC — Donohoe Construction has broken ground on Camden NoMa Phase II, a 15 story luxury apartment building project at 61 Pierce Street NE. The transit-oriented site is two blocks from the New York Avenue Metro station, four blocks from Union Station and nine blocks from the U.S. Capitol.

The 405 unit, 492,109 square foot building was designed by WDG Architecture to contribute to the emerging modern context of new architecture in the NOMA district. The project also features a number of high-end tenant amenities including a fitness club, landscaped courtyard and rooftop pool, as well as 3 levels of below grade parking. Initial delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2017.

Camden Property Trust is developing the project and Donohoe Construction Company is the general contractor.
