Arium AE, LLC, a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering design firm, has proudly served the mid-atlantic region from its
Baltimore-Washington and Northern Virginia office for over 36 years. They are thrilled to announce that Dymond architecture
studio has joined forces with their firm. David Dymond, the principal and founder of Dymond, leads this boutique design-focused firm, which has strong ties to the local community. With Dymond, Arium AE aims to enhance its design capabilities and
strengthen its presence in the mid-atlantic market.

David Dymond is a visionary, results-focused architect and business owner with more than 20 years of diverse experience in project management, design and development, project documentation, and contract administration of high-performance, high-design projects. Clients appreciate his ability to understand their needs and his commitment to delivering exceptional creative and collaborative design. His strong dedication to community engagement, cultural impact initiatives, and active involvement
in various industry and community organizations reflects his passion for his work.
David earned his Master of Architecture from Texas Tech University. After completing multiple internships in Texas and Massachusetts, he moved to Baltimore in 2003 and fell in love with the city. Having grown up in a military family living all over the U.S. and abroad, he draws from his global experiences yet enjoys having a local place to call home. As an award-winning architect, he firmly believes that good architecture represents a true blend of art and science. He is dedicated to improving the built environment and society through thoughtful design.
Before founding Dymond, David was a studio director and architect at a large international design firm. His proven leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own boutique architecture firm. Under his leadership, Dymond’s
architecture studio has served 100 clients, including repeat clients in their first two years. The firm is known for exceptional
client service and AIA Baltimore award-winning projects including “Patterson Pins,” an apartment building, bar, and arcade with
a mini bowling alley. Dymond architecture studio is featured in the upcoming issue of Voyage Baltimore Magazine as a “Hidden
Gem” within the arts and creatives community.
“Dymond’s depth of experience and design-forward approach align perfectly with Arium AE’s mission of delivering highperformance, client-focused solutions,” said Brian Frels, Principal at Arium AE. “The firm’s expertise strengthens our ability to take on complex projects and elevate our creative capabilities. We’re excited about the opportunities this collaboration will bring to our clients and the region.”
