Rockville, MD – Foulger-Pratt Contracting is proud to announce the delivery of two large, cutting-edge fitness centers for LA Fitness, and is currently working on a third location:
The Downtown Crown LA Fitness is located in the growing Downtown Crown community (of which Foulger-Pratt Contracting constructed over 100,000 SF of base building retail, as well as a 456 space pre-cast garage and 2 restaurants currently in construction) in Gaithersburg, MD encompassing 37,055 SF and incorporates LA Fitness’ “prototypical” layout for fitness-oriented clients. The facility includes workout areas, an indoor pool, recreational ball court, a spinning room, locker rooms, open office sales space and a kid’s club daycare area.
The Davis Ford Crossing LA Fitness location in Manassas, VA is 45,000 SF and includes many of the same features of the Downtown Crown facility, as well as a complex indoor pool setting, a smoothie café, basketball and racquetball courts. In addition, Foulger-Pratt provided construction services for a complete storefront and facade renovations to the Davis Ford Shopping Center, as well as interior build-outs for the Framing Store, and a Petco for The Rappaport Companies.
The Downtown Crown and Davis Ford Crossing LA Fitness locations were both complete in December 2013, in time for the New Year workout rush!
Foulger-Pratt Contracting is currently working on the Towson Commons LA Fitness location in Towson, MD which will span an impressive 52,745 SF. The build-out will feature a raised concrete indoor pool as well as a unique main staircase design feature, and amenities such as a smoothie café and spa area.
All three build-outs were designed by Studio 222 Architects.
