Foulger-Pratt Contracting Selected For Major Tenant Build-Out Of New Associated Builders And Contractors Metro Washington Chapter Headquarters
Rockville, MD – The Associated Builders and Contractors Metro Washington Chapter industry association has selected Foulger-Pratt Contracting to provide preconstruction and construction services to complete a 15,000 square foot tenant build-out for their new headquarters. The space will be shared with CraftMasters Training Trust. The scope of work includes demolition of the existing space, and new interior build-out to create office, conference, and training facilities, plus amenities, open areas, and lab spaces that are light-filled and support an enjoyable and productive work environment.
Foulger-Pratt Contracting will provide preconstruction services to efficiently support the completion of the design, provide data on cost, constructability, and sustainability options; and collaborate with the Project Team to create a headquarters that “embodies the values, core organizational structure, and corporate vision while creating an efficient floor plan and branding that encourages collaboration and teamwork.” The preconstruction phase collaboration will include close coordination with the representatives from the ABC Metro Washington and CraftMasters Training Trust organizations, the Owner’s Representative Granix, and the design team lead by OTJ Architects. Work is scheduled to be completed in late December 2013.
