Rockville, MD – We are pleased to announce that effective December 1, 2015, Insurance Associates has acquired Allegiance Surety Associates. Allegiance is a leading bonding firm located in Laurel, MD providing bonding services to the construction and real estate development industries.
Allegiance brings six employees to IA with a specialization in writing bonds for residential and commercial developers as well as general contractors and subcontractors. Their knowledge of the local real estate development community enhances the depth of IA’s contract surety practice and significantly adds to the subdivision bond portion of our business.
IA will maintain the office in Laurel as our third full service office to serve our clients. We welcome Art Jones and his team to Insurance Associates.
