Washington, DC – NAF Academy of Engineering at Phelps ACE High School Invites you to participate in the 6th Annual Shadow Day held Virtually. Come and present to Phelps Academy of Engineering students what a typical working day looks like in the industry on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 10:00 am to 1 pm.
Presenters will be matched with 11th-12th grade students. Multiple presenters from a single company are welcome! As a presenter, you will be responsible for showing a student around your work place (virtually), explaining the various tasks you do throughout the day and answering questions.
Volunteer forms are due back by Thursday, March 18, 2021. Once we have collected the forms, volunteers will be matched with students and additional information will be sent. If you would like to volunteer, please fill out the following form and email it back to the address below:

Phelps ACE High School is one of t he specialized high schools in the DC Public Schools. Its Academy of Engineering is part of the National Academy Foundation (NAF) network. For over 30 years, NAF has refined a proven educational model which includes industry-focused curricula, work-based learning experiences and business partner expertise. The NAF Academy of Engineering includes Architecture, Carpentry, Engineering, Electrical, HVAC/R and IT pathways.
