ALEXANDRIA, VA – Pierce Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce the following 2013 promotions:

Matthew J. Corrigan to Vice President Project Management and Engineering
As a Vice President, Matt oversees Pierce’s project management and quality control departments.   Upon graduation from Virginia Tech’s Building Construction program in 2002, Matt joined Pierce and started working in the project management department.  During his time with the company he has held several project management and executive roles and has completed over 4.3 million s.f. of new and renovation work.  Matt is an active member of the MCAMW previously serving on the Board of Directors and currently as Industry Fund Chairperson and Student Chapter Committee Member.
                                                                                                                                        
Keith E. Knarr
promoted to Vice President, Pre-Construction Services.  
As a Vice President, Keith brings over 15 years of experience in the construction and design industry.  After joining Pierce in 2001, he has served in a number of different roles in both the project management and pre-construction departments.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the Pennsylvania State University and has attended MCAA’s Institute of Project Management and Advanced Institute of Project Management at the University of Texas at Austin.

Anne B. Finerfrock promoted to Project Manager & Pre-Construction Services
As project manager Anne will continue to focus on the close-out of several projects at Pierce while transitioning into a new role within the pre-construction department.  In this expanded role she will work to serve as the wrap-up point of contact and add an increased emphasis on the company’s business development program.  Anne has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Notre Dame, is an Engineer in Training and a member of the Society of Women Engineers.

Matthew W. Hopke promoted to Project Manager
As a project manager Matt will lead the plant start-up and project closeout efforts on the FDA Cup Expansion, a 64,000 s.f. design-build cogeneration plant which he has been working at since he started with Pierce in 2010.  His role during the construction phase included equipment procurement, subcontractor management, and scheduling.  He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Notre Dame, is a LEEP AP, BD+C and a member MCAA’s Institute of Project Management, Class 51.
