Capitol Heights, MD – RM Thornton Mechanical, a commercial mechanical contracting company providing plumbing and HVAC services throughout the region, has announced the appointment of Dan Aghdam as their new president. 
Mr. Aghdam brings more than 22 years of relevant industry experience to his new role. Mr. Aghdam will be working closely with former president Bob Reaves as he transitions out of the day-to-day operations following a recent merger with Harris Companies.
Mr. Aghdam has experience in identifying, qualifying and developing new markets for clients and completing analysis of new market sectors. Mr. Aghdam received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Old Dominion University, along with a MBA from Duke University.
