Bethesda, MD –– CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading accounting, tax, and advisory firms in the United States, is pleased to announce Scott Damiecki, CPA, CCIFP, has been elected president of the Greater Washington DC Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). Scott is a director in the Firm’s Bethesda, MD office and a member of the Construction Industry Practice with more than 17 years of experience providing assurance, tax, and consulting to construction clients.

Scott has been an active member of the Greater Washington DC chapter of CFMA since 2005 holding multiple positions with the organization, including serving as vice president for the last year and as a program committee member for three years.  His term as president will continue for a minimum of one year with an option for a second year.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from State University of New York at Fredonia. In addition to his position with Greater Washington DC Chapter of CFMA, Scott is also the Treasurer of the ACE Mentor Program of Washington, DC.  He is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, and Maryland Building Industry Association. Additionally, Scott has worked for many years as a continuing education instructor for the construction industry.
