Arlington, VA – SIGAL Construction Corporation has completed the following interiors projects in August: a renovation of the Liberty Place lobby at 325 7th Street NW and an interior build-out of the National Disability Rights Network at 900 2nd Street NE.

The 3,000 SF Liberty Place repositioning project included both the lobby and canopy at 325 7th Street NW. Work was performed during regular business hours and the team ensured that the lobby remained entirely available to the building tenants. The scope of the project encompassed elevator cab renovations, a new structural glass entry and vestibule, slab cutting of the second floor slab to enlarge the lobby area, and new stone throughout. Hickok Cole Architects was the project architect.

The complete tenant build-out of the National Disability Rights Network (NDRN) included demolition, new partitions, ceilings, carpets, millwork, glass detailing, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, and HVAC systems. The 8,400 SF project integrated offices, conference rooms, a reception area, and a pantry. Clark Architecture & Design was the project architect. From NDRN’s website, “NRDN is the nonprofit membership organization for the federally mandated Protection and Advocacy (P&A) Systems and Client Assistance Programs (CAP). Collectively, the P&A/CAP network is the largest provider of legally based advocacy services to people with disabilities in the United States.”

SIGAL’s diverse project portfolio for commercial interiors features spaces for various end user clients from Global 1000 and Fortune 500 companies to law firms, nonprofits and associations. In addition to the typical build-out of reception areas, conference rooms, offices and open work environments, SIGAL has also overseen construction of communicating stairs, state-of-the-art training facilities and conference centers, mock court rooms, and hearing rooms just to name a few of the more specialized use areas.
