Westminster, MD — Lend Lease, one of the nation’s leaders in project management and construction, is pleased to announce that it will perform construction management services for the new William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center for Carroll Hospital Center. The project consists of a new 42,000 square foot (sf), state-of-the-art two-story health care building, the renovation of 25,000 sf of the first floor of the existing Richard N. Dixon Building, and a connection between both facilities.
The new Cancer Center will open in the fall of 2014 and will provide an entirely new approach to cancer care. Patients will have access to the latest advancements in diagnosis and treatment, including a robust roster of clinical trials and new, state-of-the-art radiation technologies that will allow physicians to target tumors with incredible precision. The center will include all cancer services under one roof, from care navigation and nutrition counseling to holistic treatments and survivorship programs.
