WASHINGTON, D.C. – Paul Mella has been elected Chairman of the Board for the Washington Building Congress.
Representing over 1,050 members, the Washington Building Congress (WBC) is the largest commercial building industry association in the greater Washington and MidAtlantic regions. Members include leading commercial developers, building owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, attorneys, government officials, service providers and allied organizations.
Mr. Mella is Senior Vice President of Operations with Dynalectric Company, one of the largest full-service electrical providers in the Washington metropolitan area. Dynalectric specializes in preconstruction, budgeting, design/build and construction of new work, renovation and all types of specialized systems.
Other FY’2012 WBC officers elected were Chairman-Elect Jim Klein (The JBG Companies), Vice Chairman John Barron (Foulger-Pratt Contracting), Vice Chairman Tamara McNulty (Black & Veatch), Vice Chairman Joel Zingeser (Grunley Construction Company), Treasurer Joe Schall (Pepco), Secretary Carl Hirrlinger (James G. Davis Construction Corp.) and Immediate Past Chairman Chuck Asmar (Asmar, Schor & McKenna).
FY’2012 WBC directors include Mike Baruccheri (Tishman Construction Corp.), Dan Buckley (Flippo Construction Company), Lynne Coville (Boston Properties), Mike Leavitt (John Moriarty and Associates), Nicolas Pasanella (Latitude 38 Real Estate), Karen Roberts (Forrester Construction Company), Allen Slaughter (Dynalectric Company), Steve Smithgall (Balfour Beatty Construction) and Anne Marie Tombros (Vango Construction Consulting)
