The new 98,000 SF&nbsp;hotel is designed to fit into the modern architecture of the Navy Yard neighborhood.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\tOwned by The Buccini\/Pollin Group, the new Hampton Inn &amp; Suites was designed by BBGM&nbsp;and is a thirteen story concrete structure with 168 hotel rooms. The construction&nbsp;incorporates a kitchen with equipment for food prep, breakfast room, meeting space, hotel&nbsp;offices, lobby, fitness room, employee break room, laundry, and loading dock area. A&nbsp;rooftop bar and terrace will highlight the neighboring scenic views, including the Nationals&nbsp;Park (immediately next door), the Washington Monument and the United States Capitol&nbsp;Building. A unique element of the hotel is a porcelain tile rain screen.<\/p>\n<p>\tSIGAL also provided preconstruction services on the project.
