Washington, DC – Gilbane Building Company hired Ed Green<\/strong> as a project executive in the Washington, DC office. Over the last two years, Gilbane\u2019s interiors team has grown by 80 percent. Ed was hired to support this growth by providing Gilbane\u2019s clients with additional executive leadership. In his role, Ed will expand Gilbane\u2019s building repositioning portfolio throughout the DC metro area, while focusing on exceptional client service.<\/p>\n Gilbane has developed a diverse team of construction professionals that have already made me feel like a part of their family,\u201d said Ed Green, project executive at Gilbane Building Company. \u201cI intend to use my background managing multiple, fast-paced projects to provide Gilbane\u2019s current and future clients with the experience needed to deliver commercial interiors and building repositioning projects.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOver the past two years our revenues from interiors projects has more than doubled,\u201d says David Childress, director of interiors for Gilbane Building Company\u2019s Washington, DC office. \u201cWe are excited to have Ed on our team to support this growth. His clients include law firms, government agencies, non-profits, Fortune 500 companies and commercial developers throughout Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC. Additionally, he has extensive experience in contract management, scheduling, procurement, cost control and constructability analysis.
