The Washington Building Congress believes that the recognition of exceptional craftsmanship is of tremendous value to the entire local construction industry. Public recognition of superior craftsmanship is deeply satisfying to the individual doing the outstanding work and encourages other tradesmen to take more pride in their work as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entries will each be evaluated for aesthetics, difficulty of execution, technical excellence and quality craftsmanship. All craftsmen, whether employed on job sites, in plants, or in shops, performing work in either the architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical or other general trades, are eligible for nomination. Although award nominations represent a wide range of trades and skills, they have one thing in common &#8211; they are craftsmen who treasure their trade and will never settle for anything less than the best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2024 Craftsmanship&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wbcnet.org\/craftsmanship-awards\/nomination-how-to\/\"><strong>nominations<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;are due by the close of business on&nbsp;<strong>Wednesday, November 15<\/strong>.
