The volunteer community is one of the charitable organization&rsquo;s most important resources. Each year, volunteers save the food bank millions of dollars while helping to feed the DMV community. The WBC Community Services Committee is coordinating this outstanding monthly volunteer opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>\t<span style='color:#5d9731;'><strong>Capital Food Bank<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\tDC Distribution Center<br \/>\t4900 Puerto Rico Avenue, NE<br \/>\tWashington, DC, 20017<\/p>\n<p>\t<u>OPEN TO MEMBERS ONLY<\/u><\/p>\n<p>\tWe are looking for volunteers <em>(limit to 10 volunteers per month)<\/em> to help on the following dates:<\/p>\n<p>\tMarch 28 &#8211; 9:00 am to Noon&nbsp; &#8211; <em>No space available<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>April 18<\/strong> &#8211; 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm<\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>May 16<\/strong> &#8211; 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm&nbsp;&#8211; <em>No space available<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\t<span style='color:#5d9731;'><em><strong>Volunteers must be at least 12 years old!<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\t<u><strong>About Capital Area Food Bank<\/strong><\/u><br \/>\tThe Capital Area Food Bank leads our region&rsquo;s efforts to provide good, healthy food to people struggling with hunger and food insecurity.
